Die Unentschlossene — Fasnacht Badge 2018
Design and production of the annual commemorative badge for the Basel Fasnacht clique Die Unentschlossene.
Created for the 2018 carnival theme Land unter (“Under Water”), the badge took the form of a tilted paper boat gradually sinking beneath the surface. The design translated the year’s motto into a compact three-dimensional object while maintaining the playful and symbolic character associated with Basel’s Fasnacht tradition.
The badge was produced from poplar plywood using laser cutting and engraving techniques, combining precision manufacturing with a handcrafted appearance.
