Absinthe Vial — Product Design & Concept Development
Concept and development of a wearable accessory for absinthe enthusiasts, combining ritual, function and personalisation within a compact object.
The project reinterprets the traditional absinthe-serving ritual by providing an alternative to the conventional sugar cube. Designed as a wearable vial, the object enables users to carry and dispense sugar crystals, allowing the sweetness of the drink to be adjusted according to personal preference while preserving the ceremonial character of absinthe preparation.
The design explored the relationship between object, user and ritual, focusing on how a small portable artefact can influence flavour, interaction and experience.
